In the afternoon, the Movement Factory is dedicated to inspire, motivate, and enrich the lives of all kids through the art of dance, the importance of physical fitness and nutrition. Through structured movement activities, games, and dance combinations children will learn more about themselves as an individual, while also working on team building. This camp is designed for both boys and girls and focuses on all types of movement and dance, no one will be left out!

“The Garden!” five-session preschool camp offers young children (ages 3-5) an exciting introduction to basic environmental science. Each session is devoted to different aspects of the garden, allowing children to progressively enrich their understanding of how living things grow and how they interact with the environment around them. During the course of each three-hour session, children will perform hands-on experiments, play themed games, and enjoy a snack and story related to the session’s themes. A mural will grow through the course of the program as children illustrate their latest discoveries at the close of each session.

Away We Play | Movement, Music, and Messy Art

Structured for tots 6 to 36 months, this class is a place where children learn through “play” where creative expression is encouraged and lasting friendships are made. Join your child and see the world through their eyes as they engage in group play. “Let’s hold hands for circle games and sing out loud. Let’s jump really high and march all around. We’ll definitely get our hands messy as we paint, paste, and create. We’ll gather together, it will be just great.” Founded by Susan Ravine and Cara Pollard; visit www.awayweplaychicago.com to register.
